Outgoing Authentication

Opera versions 6 and earlier do not support Outgoing Authentication.

 
Opera 7
  1. Go to Mail -> Manage accounts
  2. Select the account you need SMTP authentication for and click the "Edit" button.
  3. Select the "Servers" tab in the "Account properties" dialog box.
  4. Enter your username and password under the "Outgoing SMTP server".
